Cosmic Illustrations and the Life of Drew Turner

Tuesday, October 20th, 2009

“I used to lay on the floor staring up at the skirt of the Christmas tree fascinated by the mish mash of colours, lights, sparkles, reflections, and spheres.”

<br />

Stumbling upon Drew Turner was nothing less than fate. While looking through infinite pages of graphic art on ffffound.com, one of Drew’s prints showed up, and it was love at first sight. This witty artist from the United Kingdom has had a knack for drawing since his early years. From Sonic the Hedgehog, to working with computer animation at the age of twelve, Drew has had a special place in his heart for art, more specifically graphic art.

Now at age twenty-six, Drew is selling his art, and is in currently working on selling his prints in collaboration with Urban Outfitters, which should be in stores in the time to come.

“If it all goes to plan the “lion” will be sold as wall art in their stores in the near future”

So what is this innovative artist working on now? Continuing the trend of lasers, reflection, animals, infinity, and flow in his art.

A singed print (a3) costs £25 and his designs on a tee shirt for £30. Trust me, it’s well worth the buy, for you will find nothing as futuristic and cosmic like this anywhere else.
